they both suck but for different reasons.

one breaks its own arm jerking itself off on how smart it thinks it is and kneecaps ever story the nu trilogy had going.

the other is just has to retcon itself just so fucking hard to cores correct it topples over several times into school of toddlers and explodes

Imagine a Resistance member who heard the “Somehow Palpatine Returned” line, noped out of there and pretty much missed everything after that. Then not long after, they finds out Palpatine is once again dead.

“Somehow Palpatine returned, somehow Palpatine went away again :) “

Also I want Palpatine to get resurrected yet again just so somebody could drop the line “how many times must we teach you this lesson, old man?!”

Well he came for Dark Empire where he came back and was beaten but then Dark Empire had sequels where he came back again so that’s twice.
And I think there was like another time it looked like he came back but it was a holocron.

Well it’s kinda a matter perspective.
Since he was burning through Clone bodies constantly then he came back to life dozens of hundreds of times.
Or do you consider his comeback(s) grouped together in certain events like Dark Empire altogether does that only count as one resurrection because it happens at one point in time?
He does say he’s done this for like centuries in Dark Empire that was obviously ignored in later stories about his past.

I don’t want Palp back. I don’t care about that. The ONLY reason I want Palp revived is so somebody can be like “Really? Do I gotta drop you again? come on bruh take the L and move on to the after life.”

It was also made before the whole prophecy of the Chosen One bringing balance to the Force was an established lore thing.
Also while true I don’t see how what you said has any real relevance to this conversation.

I meant that it makes sense that Pal’s backstory was changed after that since Lucas was very hushed about what came before other than there was a war that included clones.
