Well in all fairness, one big advantage MLP has over this is that MLP is set in a rich and immersive fantasy world rife with lore and full of memorable charactes. This on the other hand just has a typical modern setting.

There’s actually a lot of amusing moments and life lessons about parenting or even adult friendships from the adults in Bluey that toddlers will be none the wiser to. I respect your opinion to not be into something more geared towards kids, but you seem to be making assumptions that it doesn’t have content outside its demographic, which is simply incorrect. Bluey has storytelling layers like MLP does, so calling it a toddler’s show really isn’t that accurate. It’s for kids and their families, in the same way Lauren Faust set out to make MLP gear towards young girls and their families.
The era of tunnel vision programming that only cares about one demographic is marching towards extinction, save for shows like Sesame Street that focus on child development, not storytelling. I say thank god for that. With good writing you can bring something for everyone while still having a focus, and that’s how more media should be.

People say the same thing about MLP. Only replace “it’s for kids” with “it’s for girls.” Not gonna make an entire paragraph defending a children’s show, but I’m just gonna say Bluey has a good amount of heart and soul put into it. This isn’t your typical Peppa Pig schlock.
Peppa pig no es un show para niños es un negocio para adultos en cambio bluey se enfoca a la participación de todos los miembros de la familia

to me MLP feels like it’s for everyone. the primary audience is kids yes, but there is still stuff to like as an adult.
bluey is geared a lot more towards kids. like, really little kids. and the peppa pig-like setting doesn’t help either. i hate to say it, but i find it weird to like a toddler’s show, regardless of whether it’s good or not
