If that’s the case, I like to think it was Jim Miller - he seemed more, uh, sober-eyed about the fandom, I suppose

When G6 comes out, I would love to see it try to emulate more of the high fantasy feel of G1. I think that could be a nice change in direction especially since it could differentiate itself from the slightly modern G4 and the ultramodern G5.

Yes, I honestly love MLP in a modern setting and want G6 to have that kind of setting as well.

Hmm… I kind of want to do something with humans again. Maybe Megan-style visits, or maybe the idea I had for G5, where a human family with at least one adopted pony kid moved to Ponyland so she could be among her own kind.

I do like the modern feel sometimes, Pipp seems to be doing it quite well. But I would love a different setting to what we have now.

If it really is like Legend of Korra, imagine if this is just it and then we’re getting a Shyamalan live action remake that doesn’t exist and a Netflix live action remake after a few years.

Frankly, given that they’ve now ended what should have been the primary series, I’d be surprised if it lasts beyond this year. Said this before, but it’s absolutely ludicrous that they introduced G5 as a CG animated series and ultimately didn’t want to commit to it all the way through.

They didn’t. G5 had its debut with The Movie, and TYT came out before MYM.

They did, though. MYM told a complete story and ended at a very logical stopping point.

Because there wasn’t already a TV show to base it on, so by all but actual law it had to be 3D. Ever notice how the only 2D movies now are based on already existing cartoons like Steven Universe, Teen Titans Go, MLP:FiM, etc?

TYT is a 5-minute episodic show that had almost no marketing.

MYM was a complete show released for streaming and it was the show that was the core of G5 universe.

I honestly don’t think it would have been bad if MYM had been a 2D show, maybe it could have avoided some things like the animation problems that the first few chapters had.

How did the carts in “Carts Before the Ponies” run? It didn’t look like magic, and there’s no opening in the seats for them to run their hooves, I don’t engines have been invented yet either.
